I’m Kim Gundermann – entrepreneur, startup coach, and business strategist. My passion is helping people build businesses that actually work or take their existing ventures to the next level.
Startup Coaching: From Idea to a Working Business
I’ve founded multiple businesses myself – in gastronomy, retail, and digital business models. In addition, I’ve worked in various tech startups (health, energy, mobility), mainly in go-to-market, business development, and strategy.
I understand the theory (also through my MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management), but more importantly, I know—and teach—what it takes in practice: acquiring customers, testing pricing, refining your offer, understanding cash flow, and making decisions when things get uncomfortable.
That’s exactly what my coaching is about. It’s not about planning for months or perfecting concepts—it’s about taking action, following a lean startup approach.

My Focus Area
I originally come from the gastronomy industry—a field that has strongly shaped me as an entrepreneur. To this day, I support founders in this space and regularly host a monthly consultation session on the Gründerplattform.
I also work extensively with international founders and entrepreneurs who want to enter the German market or build a business here—whether with a new idea or an existing product from abroad.
Another key focus of my work is the meaningful use of artificial intelligence. AI is becoming an essential part of how we work and live—and the earlier you learn how to use it effectively, the better. I show you how to go beyond simple prompts and use AI systematically for organization, marketing, planning, and business processes—so you can work more efficiently and move faster.
